Ten and a half hours from a British winter to a tea bungalow veranda. We design private, chauffeur-guided journeys for UK travellers who would rather stay three nights somewhere good than tick off five towns — boutique stays, unhurried days and a local team on call while you travel.

Minimum stay we suggest per base
British travellers tell us the same thing every year: the two-week Sri Lanka itineraries sold online look exhausting. Nine stops, eight hotels, and half the holiday spent in the car.
We plan it the other way round — fewer bases, longer stays, proper afternoons. A tea planter’s bungalow above Hatton, three nights in a fort villa in Galle, a morning train through the hills rather than another long drive. Every day is written out in advance with honest travel times, so you know exactly what you are booking.

Send us your dates and the kind of holiday you have in mind. You will get a day-by-day plan with real driving times and a clear quote — no deposit, no pressure, and as many revisions as you need.
Three landscapes, a few hours apart: the tea country above the clouds, the old Dutch fort at Galle, and the dry-zone parks where leopards still outnumber the jeeps if you go early enough.
You are booking with the people who actually run the trip in Sri Lanka — not a UK reseller adding a margin to the same local operator.
Every itinerary is written from scratch around your dates, pace and interests — then revised as often as you like, with no planning fee.
Restored planters' bungalows with butler service, fort villas in Galle, tented safari camps — we book the places you would choose yourself.
Fewer bases, longer stays and no six-hour transfer days. Where the drive is dull, we put you on the hill-country train instead.
Land arrangements priced in full, airport meet-and-greet at any hour, UK-hours replies from our planners and 24/7 WhatsApp once you land.
The same guide stays with you from arrival to departure — licensed by Sri Lanka Tourism, insured, first-aid trained, and chosen for calm driving and good conversation rather than a script.

From first message to airport pick-up, one planner looks after your trip.
Travel dates, group size and the sort of holiday you want — by form or WhatsApp. A planner replies within 24 hours.
A day-by-day plan with honest driving times, hotel options at three price levels and a clear quote. Revise it freely.
A deposit holds your dates. You land in Colombo to a name board, a cold drink and your own vehicle — with us on call throughout.
British passport holders need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), applied for before departure on the official site eta.gov.lk. Since 25 May 2026 the tourist ETA fee has been waived for citizens of 40 countries, including the United Kingdom — approval is still required, but there is no fee. Always check the official site for the current rules before you travel.
There are direct flights from London to Colombo of around ten and a half hours, plus one-stop options through the Gulf from most UK airports. We quote land arrangements only — the tour, guide, vehicle, entrance fees and, if you wish, your hotels — so you are free to book flights with an ATOL-protected agent or on points. We will happily advise on arrival times and airport transfers.
December to March is the classic window: dry on the west and south coasts, clear mornings in the hills, and blue whales off Mirissa — which happens to be exactly when the UK is at its greyest. July to September suits school holidays if you head for the east coast at Trincomalee or Pasikudah. The Cultural Triangle works all year.
Our tour prices start from around USD 390 per person and cover the private vehicle, chauffeur-guide, fuel, listed entrance fees and activities. Accommodation is quoted separately so you control that budget — roughly USD 30–45 per person per night for good three-star hotels, USD 90–130 for boutique villas and tea bungalows, and USD 140 upwards for five-star properties. Flights and insurance are separate.
We are a Sri Lankan tour operator providing land arrangements, so we are not an ATOL holder — ATOL covers flight-inclusive packages sold in the UK. Book your flights separately through an ATOL-protected agent, take out comprehensive travel insurance, and you are covered on both sides. Our booking terms, deposit and cancellation policy are set out in writing in every quote before you pay anything.
Very. We shorten driving days, choose hotels with lifts and pools, provide child seats free of charge, and offer alternatives wherever the climb is steep — the Sigiriya gardens and museum instead of the summit, for instance. Tell us who is travelling and we build the pace around them.
When to go, what a fortnight really costs, how to book the Kandy–Ella train, and which beaches work in which month.
